Southern LEAP25

  • Must be a registered member of Scouts Queensland on the opening day of Southern LEAP25, through until the end of the last day of camp.
     
  • Achieved (or working towards) Stage 3 Camping. If you or your scout leader has questions about this requirement reach out to southernchiefdirector@leap.scoutsqld.com.au.
  • Endorsement of your section leader.
     
  • ​Have consent from their parents/guardian
     

Northern LEAP25

  • Must be a registered member of Scouts Queensland on the opening day of Northern LEAP25, through until the end of the last day of camp.
  • Have completed either the:
    • Program Essentials Introduction to Section , as well as Outdoor Adventure Skills Stage 2 in each of Bushcraft, Bushwalking, and Camping for Scouts and Stage 3 for Venturers
  • Have consent of their parents/guardian
  • Have attended a minimum five nights under canvas as a Scout or Venturer Scout
  • Must be a registered member of Scouts Queensland on the opening day of the event through the closing date.

Venturer Scouts

Attention, Venturers! If you are registered for the event and your 18th birthday falls during LEAP25 event you are attending, you are going to need a Blue Card prior to the start of camp.

It can sometimes take a while to recieve a Blue Card, so it would be best to get started on it now so you recieve it in plenty of time.

If you need help with this process, ask your leader for guidance.

Adult Members

  • Hold a valid, linked Blue Card (with proof of this on their SMS record). Note, Blue Card must remain current throught the duration of the event​.
  • Have completed compulsory eLearning modules.
  • Be capable of handling the physical requirements of the event.
  • Depending on your role during camp you may be sleeping and catered for in a different campsite location to your Scouts. If your Scout Patrol has any problems while on camp, the sub-camp leaders will be there to help out.
  • All leaders regardless of role will be catered for. Leaders who are attending as part of activity teams or in support roles will be camped in a Leader subcamp.
