LEAP is back, and it’s gearing up to bigger and better than ever! LEAP is a Patrol-based camp at Baden-Powell Park in Samford from the 26th to the 30th of June 2024 AND Tarmaroo in Townsville from the 30th June to the 6th July.
LEAP-South is 5 days, 4 nights of exhilarating activities that will leave your Patrol buzzing with excitement, all while you are sleeping, eating, and working as a Patrol during camp. These activities include STEM, pioneering, mud, and other awesome OAS elements; not to mention epic night-time activities and front-row seats to the Gang Show.
LEAP-North is 6 nights, 7 days of exciting activities for both Scouts and Venturers. You will also enjoy the challenge of Patrol based camping and epic night-time entertainment!
Encourage your mates to attend as a Patrol or form an activity patrol just for LEAP. As a Patrol you’ll need to organise your necessary transport, food, and equipment.
Calling all Venturer Scouts: you too are invited! We need you to help us run the activities at LEAP-South – a great chance to develop and showcase your OAS skills and have fun supporting the Scouts. You’ll have your own subcamp to kick back and relax in after a day of adventure. At LEAP-North you get to experience the adventure programme. Get together with your mates and organise the trip of a lifetime!
For our Adult adventurers at LEAP-South, the Gang Show is an optional treat. Once you have registered, we’ll be sending out an EOI for this activity. If we can’t accommodate all the adults, you’ll have access to the special LEAP rate to attend other performances.
